Vanuatu ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, is a Member State to the International Telecommunication Union and a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct against Ballistic Missile Proliferation (HCoC). The Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator is a statutory body that regulates the telecommunications and broadcasting sector and manages radio frequency spectrum through the Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator Act. The regulator has publsihed a report on potential regulatory aspect of satellite services in Vanuatu including outer space satellite licensing, satellite base station receive/transmit licensing; and satellite filing.
