<p>The United Arab Emirate's space activities are guided by the <a href="https://cms.spacesecurityportal.org/uploads/UAE_National_Space_Policy_English_fecebbc4bb.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">National Space Policy</a> and the <a href="https://cms.spacesecurityportal.org/uploads/UAE_2030_National_Strategy_Summary_EN_df4858a6bf.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">National Space Strategy 2030</a>. Relevant legal documents include the <a href="https://cms.spacesecurityportal.org/uploads/UAE_Space_Sector_Federal_Law_EN_febe75201b.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Federal Law on the Regulation of the Space Sector</a>, and regulations on registration of space objects, authorization of space activities and space debris mitigation guidelines.&nbsp;Matters concerning space security are under the responsibility of the Ministry of Defence.</p><p>The <a href="https://space.gov.ae/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">UAE Space Agency</a> was established in 2014, and the Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre is responsible for developing the UAE National Space Programme. The UAE is also a member of the Arab Space Cooperation Group.</p>
