Tuvalu demonstrates engagement in international frameworks relevant to space and security governance. It ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and acceded to the International Telecommunication Constitution and Convention.

Tuvalu is also a Member State to the International Telecommunication Union and a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct Against Ballistic Missile Proliferation.

Domestically, the Tuvalu Meteorological Service (TMS) relies on space-based systems for weather, climate, and sea-level monitoring supporting Tuvalu’s environmental security and climate resilience.
