As a member State of the African Union, Sierra Leone adheres to the established space framework by the African Union including key positions like the African Space Policy and African Space Strategy. Sierra Leone is also a member of the International Telecommunication Union and a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct Against Ballistic Missile Proliferation.
