Saudi Arabia's space activities are coordinated through the Saudi Space Agency (SSA) which is the national civil space agency. Additional governing organs include the Saudi Arabia Center for Space Futures, the Communications, Space & Technology Commission and the Supreme Space Council which formulates space policies and strategies. The space activities of these organs are part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the Strategic Priorities for Space and Aeronautics Technology Program outlined by the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.
Saudi Arabia is party to the Outer Space Treaty, the Rescue Agreement, the Liability Convention and the Registration Convention. The state is also ratified the International Telecommunication Union Constitution and Convention. Saudi Arabia is a member of the Arab Space Cooperation Group and the International Telecommunication Union.
