Mozambique does not have a space programme. As a member State to the African Union, Mozambique adheres to the established space framework by the African Union including key positions like the African Space Policy and African Space Strategy and is a member to the African Space Agency. Mozambique is also a member to the International Telecommunication Union since 1975. Additionally, Mozambique became a party to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test Ban Treaty in 2008 and a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct in 2003.
