Madagascar is also a member State to the International Telecommunication Union, the African Space Agency, and a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct Against Ballistic Missile Proliferation.

As a member State to the African Union, Madagascar adheres to the established space framework by the African Union, including key positions like the African Space Policy and African Space Strategy.
