Liechtenstein's space activities are governed by the Space Act of 05 October 2023. The Act authorizes space activities and the registration of space objects. In relation to this, Liechtenstein also approved the Ordinance of 04 December 2023, which supplements the Space Act and governs the details of authorising space activities and registering space objects.
The Office of Communications is the supervisory authority responsible for the implementation of the Space Act and the Space Ordinance.
Liechtenstein, through accession, became a party to the Liability Convention and the Registration Convention, and it has ratified the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and the International Telecommunications Union Constitution and Convention.
