The Israeli Space Program includes a civilian and military structure. The Israel Space Agency is responsible for implementing the civilian space activities of Israel and operates under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Ministry of Defense Space and Satellite Administration coordinates all of Israel's aerospace defense activities. In addition, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Space Directorate Unit was established in February 2024 for the purpose of consolidating outer space defense and security missions.
