<p>Iceland does not have a national space programme or space policy. Iceland is a party to <a href="https://www.unoosa.org/oosa/en/ourwork/spacelaw/treaties/introouterspacetreaty.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Outer Space Treaty</a> and <a href="https://www.unoosa.org/oosa/en/ourwork/spacelaw/treaties/introrescueagreement.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rescue Agreement</a> and is a signatory to the <a href="https://www.unoosa.org/oosa/en/ourwork/spacelaw/treaties/introliability-convention.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Liability Convention</a>.</p>
