Haiti has shown support for international space security through its participation in key treaties and agreements. Although not yet a State Party to, it has signed the Outer Space Treaty, the Rescue Agreement, and the Liability Convention, signaling its commitment to the peaceful use of outer space. Haiti is a member State to the International Telecommunication Union and acceded to its Constitution and Convention in 1995. Additionally, Haiti is a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct Against Ballistic Missile Proliferation and has signed the Declaration for the creation of the Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency.
