Guinea-Bissau is a party to the Outer Space Treaty, the Rescue Agreement, the International Telecommunication Constitution and Convention, the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. It is also a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct Against Ballistic Missile Proliferation.
As a member State to the African Union, Guinea-Bissau adheres to the established space framework by the African Union including key positions like the African Space Policy and African Space Strategy.
