El Salvador is a party to the Outer Space Treaty, the Rescue Agreement, and the Liability Convention. The country is a member State of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and the International Telecommunication Union, and a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct Against Ballistic Missile Proliferation.
