The Democratic People's Republic of Korea's national space program is responsible for both civil and military programs. The National Aerospace Technology Administration (NATA) is the official space agency of the DPRK. The priorities and programs of the National Aerospace Technology Administration are guided by the Law of Space Development, which was adopted by the Supreme People's Assembly in 2013. The Law of Space Development is the DPRK's foundational document for scientific development and international cooperation.
