Croatia does not have a space program or a specialized space agency. However, Croatia has been a European Cooperating State with the European Space Agency since August 2023. The Ministry of Science, Education and Youth is responsible for implementing the agreement signed with ESA.
As a member State to the European Union, Croatia adheres to the established space framework by the European Union including but not limited to the Space Strategy for Europe and the European Union Space Strategy for Security and Defence, and the political commitment not to conduct destructive, direct-ascent anti-satellite (ASAT) missile testing.
