The Central African Republic is a party to the Partial Test Ban Treaty and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, and it is bound by the Constitution and Convention of the International Telecommunication Union. In addition, the Central African Republic is a subscribing State to the Hague Code of Conduct against Ballistic Missile Proliferation.

The Central African Republic is a Member State of the International Telecommunication Union and the African Space Agency. As a member of the African Union, it aligns with and adheres to the AU's governance framework, including the African Space Policy and the African Space Strategy.
