<p>Bangladesh's space program is primarily led by <a href="https://sparrso.gov.bd/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO)</a>, the national space agency. SPARRSO has a civil focus on the peaceful use of space and remote sensing technology and produces databases, information and maps for different Ministries, including the Ministry of Defence. Additionally, in Extract of the Defence Policy 2018, SPARRSO is listed as a relevant entity for national defence.&nbsp;</p><p>Accordingly, relevant entities for the military components of Bangladesh's space program is the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces Division of the Prime Minister's Office.</p>
